1949s small silver tone fur clip with blue, green, and orange cabochon stones. Measures approximately 1.5 by 1.25 inches. Excellent condition.
The hinged clip on back snaps up and down to hold in place. It does have “teeth” which is typical for it to grip on fur, it’s original intended use. However, we have used a metal file on the teeth on our personal clips to take away the sharpness and it makes it perfect to use on aoftwr fabrics such as silk without the fear of ruining them. There are many great style opportunities for fur clips - dress/blouse clips, belt decorations, hair pins, shoe clips, etc.
